10 launched in October to provide online business generation and web communications.
The company will offer services to owner directors and entrepreneurs who
seek support in establishing new business for VC start-ups and other commercial
projects.
Unlike traditional agencies 10 offers a more flexible approach where some
work, particularly new business generation, can be run in-house, bolting
onto the client's director team and thereby cutting overheads and costs
and becoming closer to the business. 10 fills a gap in the market neither
served by management consultancies nor agencies.
Julian le Maistre, Development Director of 10 said: 'We felt that the traditional
agency model was quite tired. It tends to be based around volume production
and that dictates the type of company you become and the service you can
offer. With 10 we would rather do an outstanding job for two or three clients
in much more detail and become part of their business. Branding is a much
used word, but what its really about is relationships. We have the ability
to 'pick up the phone' and build one to one relationships as well as delivering
the most creative campaigns. Together that can really get a business idea
working. We don't wield a creative team that comes in and criticises everything
and then disappears. We come in, and stay and get things working.'
Henry Villiers, Creative Director of 10 said: 'Compelling communications
and intelligent business generation do not normally sit easily within the
traditional agency. When agencies talk about building relationships more
often than not it means Direct Marketing. We work on building one to one
relationships through meeting people and creating opportunities on the
back of an outstanding creative campaign. Sure we are not going to go out
and meet everyone that wants to buy a Mars Bar but we might be interested
in creating a great reference base for a software product or business service
to build value into it.'

Julian le Maistre trained within the manufacturing division of Glaxo spending
four years in sales. He has 20 years experience in marketing communications
and business development and was awarded Master of The Arts in Marketing
Communications in 2000. He has since built a freelance business helping
director-owners to establish markets for new ventures and attract funding
and potential partners and purchasers.
Henry Villiers has a solid track record as an outstanding designer and
creative director. His work has won awards, particularly in New Media and
digital marketing and his personal client list features dynamic and well-known
business people. After returning from working in LA and New York earlier
this year 10 was set in motion to combine Julian and Henry's skills through
establishing a niche business generation and brand communications company. |
